Blog: UNO You Know?

Click here to go to the GIMUN Blog!

The creation of a blog, "UNO: You Know?" is one of GIMUN'S newest projects. We seek to facilitate access to  information on the United Nations and on international relations, as well as provide a platform for young people with an interest in journalism to diffuse their writing.

We believe that we respond to the need of creating a place that allows one to orientate oneself in the vast domain of international affairs, where the quantity of available information is staggering.  This blog will therefore firstly gather the necessary and essential information on the United Nations. This aim of the blog perfectly matches the mandate of GIMUN : the promotion of the values of the United Nations. Furthermore, this blog will also serve as a platform allowing young people to express themselves by writing articles and by sharing their opinions on international current topics.

How to become a journalist

Do you have an interest in journalism and the United Nations? The GIMUN Blog "UNO: You Know?" is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated students willing to work for the Blog. Previous experience in the field is not a must, however some basic notions that would enable one to write a coherent article is a requirement. You can become a member of the Blog Staff, or simply be a free lance journalist.

Attention: The GIMUN Blog is not a training session for aspiring journalists. For this reason, we are seeking for students with good editing and proofreading skills. GIMUN is a bilingual organization (English and French) therefore a good knowledge of at least one of these languages is required.
