The Geneva International Model United Nations (GIMUN) Association organises an Annual Conference, which simulates the working of various United Nations committees and bodies. The simulation takes place over one week and hosts university students from all over the world, from a variety of backgrounds, tied together by a common interest to come together and discuss various issues of global concern.
The Annual Conference is the primary event of the GIMUN NGO and is organized by the NGO's Conference Staff
The Conference Staff is led by the two Secretaries-General who are responsible for the overall organization of the Conference, both in substantive and logistics matters. They are assisted by a large group of dedicated and active volunteers each with their own tasks and responsibilities.
Committee Staff: On the substantive side of the conference, each of the six committees are structured and led by two Chairpersons. Each committee also has a Secretary who provides vital assistance before and during the Conference
