Publication Responsible (update: position occupied since mid-Nov)

Description: You work closely together with the webmaster on GIMUN’s communication towards our target groups. The tasks include writing and publishing articles and news letters as well as participating in promotion work on our events.

Requirements: You are studying in Geneva and you have a general know-how in journalism and web publication. You are motivated and eager to learn, at the same time showing initiative and commitment.

GIMUN Representative at the Youth Network Switzerland-UN (JUNES)

Description: JUNES is the national umbrella organization for youth work on the United Nations system. Its members are associations form allover Switzerland.

As GIMUN’s representative you are responsible for our commitments towards JUNES. The work implies firstly, to guarantee the flow of information between the two sides; Secondly, the co-operation of GIMUN with other members of JUNES on specific projects; and thirdly, to carry out GIMUN workshops (e.g. 2h UN-Simulation) and other projects on high school level in and around Geneva.

Requirements: You are studying in Geneva and you are generally interested in relations between the United Nations and Switzerland. You speak at least French; German is an advantage. You are a team player and want to improve your individual project management skills.
