We have the pleasure to invite you to an extraordinary assembly of the GIMUN association on December 12th 2008, 18:30 in Salle S4, Villa Barton, IHEID.

New Statutes

Throughout this year the UN accreditation of GIMUN has brought us numerous developments in all the activities of our association. These organized events include on the one hand Mini-simulations in order to make our work better known and on the other hand a large conference on the anniversary of the ratification of the UN Charter. Gathering more than 200 students and professionals made it to a big success!

These side events to our annual GIMUN Conference made it necessary to adapt our internal organization. In collaboration with the EXCOM’08, we therefore worked out new statutes for GIMUN. Our current statutes no longer represent what GIMUN to a large part has already become. The trigger point to adapt our statutes came with the objective to get recognized by the University of Geneva.

However, for changing our statutes we need your collaboration and our approval. And there lays the reason for this extraordinary GA. We will also use the opportunity to further discuss with you the future of GIMUN as well as its perspectives. Additionally we will take the chance to admit new members to GIMUN. Please note that only the current members can vote in the assembly. Nevertheless everybody is warmly welcomed!

• Participate actively in GIMUN;
• Send your application and the form (see below) to president [at] gimun [dot] org;
• Pay the sum of CHF 1.- at the GA.
