Registration for the 2010 MUN Conference open

Dear all,

The registration for the 2010 conference is now officially open. The registration period concerns those wishing to participate as delegates or journalists.

As for the delegates and journalists, they can choose between six councils:

  •             Security Council (SC)
  •             Human Rights Council (HRC)
  •             Economic and Social Council (EcoSoc)
  •             General Assembly First Committee – Disarmament and International Security (DISec)
  •             General Assembly Second Committee – Economic and Financial (EcoFin)
  •             United Nations Peace Building Commission (UNPBC)

The registration period is divided into several waves: The first and second wave are already closed and a great number of participants has already been chosen.

Nevertheless there are still some vacant positions, so we will open a third and final wave at the end of January.

How to register:

To be able to access the registration form, a GIMUN account has to be set up on our website. For organizational reasons, we kindly ask you to use your full name as your username. Once you have set up your account, you can find the registration form in the participation section.

Please be aware that the selection process is highly competitive. Take your time to carefully work on your application before you submit it, in order to increase your chances of being selected.

Disclaimer:

We are still working on making further information accessible. You will notice that the study guides have not  all been published yet, as they are still being refined. Also, we are currently updating our Rules of Procedure to current developments. The new RoP will be available soon.
