GIMUN Terms and Conditions

By registering for the GIMUN 2008 Conference, you agree

• to fully cooperate with the GIMUN staff at all times before and during the 2008 Conference, to meet all deadlines set by the GIMUN staff and to provide honest and accurate information;

• to being present at all times according to the 2008 GIMUN Conference program, as this is very important for the proper functioning of the conference;

• to constructively and actively participate in the 2008 GIMUN Conference activities including the preparation process;

• to take seriously a potential issue of a Swiss visa, to stick to all procedural and other guidelines at all times and not to abuse of it;

• to fully respect the Code of Conduct (including formal dress code and ban on alcohol) on the premises of the “Palais des Nations”, which is at our disposal for the duration of the GIMUN 2008 Conference by courtesy of the United Nations Office in Geneva.
  
  
  

Furthermore, by registering for the 2008 GIMUN Conference you understand

• that the evaluation of potential absences from 2008 GIMUN Conference activities is left to the discretion of the Chairs and Secretary-Generals and that in a case of repeated absences from conference activities, appropriate measures may be taken;

• that the certificate of participation can and will only be issued after sufficient attendance of conference activities;

• that it is not possible to have the participation fee refunded if you cannot come to the GIMUN 2008 Conference due to any reason(s);
  
  
  

Concerning the use of personal data:

• the following personal data can be transferred to other Model United Nations, with whom the GIMUN has Cooperation-Agreements:

o Name
o E-Mail address
o Position (Country & Council)
o Rating given to the delegates by their chairs;

• after the GIMUN 2008 Conference your email address can be used by the GIMUN to keep you informed about further activities and the next conference;

• in case you disagree with this use of your personal data, please write an email to president(at)gimun.org, and we will not make further use of it.
