Journalist
Have you read the
presentation of this year's committees and conference topics?
Have you read which
newspapers will be covering which committee?
Did the idea of being a journalist for GIMUNews in Geneva next spring raise your interest?
Then please read the following:
Being a journalist at GIMUN 2008
As a journalist, you will be covering one of GIMUN's six committees
and writing one feature a day. This will be written either from a
neutral, but critical perspective, or from a biased point of view
assuming one specific newspaper's position, and the articles will be
published daily in GIMUNews, the MUN's own newspaper.
Being a
journalist at GIMUN is a unique opportunity to report from an
international, bilingual Model UN conference. Your articles will be
the main source of information for the other participants and will
strongly influence decisions taken in the committees.
In order to be a journalist at GIMUN, you should bring with you a
strong interest for the UN and international diplomacy. You must be an
undergraduate or graduate student and fluent (written and spoken) in
either English or French. Doesn't seem too difficult, does it?
For general information on journalism and GIMUNews, please refer to the
Journalism pages in the Conference 2008 section.
For specific application criteria, please refer to the GIMUNews

The final step for you to participate in the GIMUN 2008 annual conference is to fill out the registration form.
