Before you start registering please attentively read the following:
GIMUN is a university level MUN. We do not accept high school applications. You must be above 18.
Your participation is mandatory for the whole week.
You must have a very strong knowledge of at least English or French, because those are the only languages of our conference.
To your left and in the “Conference 2008” section of our website we have provided you with valuable information about the week you stay with us in Geneva. It should also help you make your choices for the conference.
We urge you to gather information about the conference and the different committees on our website before you go ahead and register.
Registration
Registering requires two simple steps.
Fill in the registration form (Please inform yourself on our website about the different choices of committees, countries and newspapers before you fill in the blanks).
Once you have submitted your registration form you will receive an email with instructions as to how to transmit us your Curriculum Vitae (CV) and your motivation letter in which you argue your first choice of committee and country or newspaper.
We will only take complete dossiers into consideration (completed blanks, CV and motivation letter). Since GIMUN is entirely bilingual dossiers can be composed in english as well as in french.
Please note that the number of places is limited and the earlier you register, the better are your chances to be selected.
If you know that you will need a VISA to come to Switzerland, please register for GIMUN as soon as possible, since VISA procedure takes a lot of time.
