Why “Eurasia”MUN?

EurasiaMUN focuses on topics particulary relevant to the relations between Europe and Asia. Such Topics could be the impact of terrorism on the international relations between Asia and Europe, energy distribution, or conflicts with major interest of the two continents such as the Kosovo crisis.

Today it is important to have a profound understanding of the different links between the eurasian continent. Various Asian nations and cultures are becoming increasingly important and influencial in economic, social and cultural aspects in our world.
The two continents differ in terms of customs and moral concepts. However, mutual respect, confidence as well as cultural comprehension create the basis for cooperation on an intercontinental and intercultural level.

EurasiaMUN has the aim to bring together students of asian, european but also other backgrounds in order to create such understanding and to enable valuable cultural exchange.
