The participation fee will amount this year to CHF 200.- (180.- for your participation and 20.- for our solidarity fund to help financing participants from financially less endowed environments). Participation for interpreters and translators is free, as it requires a very high level of qualification.

  • coffee breaks in the morning and afternoon
  • many social events: welcome dinner on the first evening, gala night, ...

The participation fee does not include :

Financial help?

Every year, we support some candidates by granting them financial help, as without it, their participation would be impossible. The participants who obtain this allowance are usually those coming from a less privileged or underrepresented country, or those whose journey to Geneva is very expensive. They usually present a high quality profile.

Participants may obtain financial help only if they have tried to find other sources of financing by themselves: their university, a foundation, their family, a fundraising campaign with a MUN-Group.

The financial allowances we potentially grant are these:
  • exemption of the participation fee
  • accommodation funding
  • partial or complete re-funding of the travel cost
These different aids can be combined.

Participants applying for financial aid will need to thoroughly reflect upon it. They will have to formally apply for financial help and present certain documents. Financial assistance will only be granted after some deliberation.
