Born and raised in Ravenna, Italy, 23 years old, she passed the first 18 years of life sailing, traveling, devouring movies, listening to music and organizing concerts. On her way to Florence University to start architecture studies, she detoured to Pisa, where she attended undergraduate studies in Political Science and International Relations. After three years in the shade of the leaning tower, she arrived in Geneva in October 2006 and she is now enrolled in a 2-year master program at HEI, where she mainly focuses on international trade and development and renewable energy sources and development. Dazzled by the experience of delegate in GIMUN 2007, she decided to get involved in the organization of the GIMUN Association events and in the 2008 conference.
As Secretary General Caterina will:
take care of the preparation and supervision of the simulation.
assist and coordinate the committee chairpersons in the preparation and smooth running of the workshop-committees
participate in the administration of the GIMUN association and
in the organization of the events that take place during the year.

Raphael Vogel:
Raphael grew up in a small town near Lucerne and spent 4 years studying international relations in Geneva. During his time in the army and some travel experiences he became strongly interested in the resolution of conflicts in general, the meaning of the use in force and peacebuilding.
As a Secretary General Raphael will
Support the organization of the GIMUN 2008 conference
Support the chairpersons in their topic selection and accompany them during their various stages of the work during the year
Write the rules of procedure
Help promote GIMUN’s ECOSOC status
The GIMUN experience is as an attempt:
