Already with 6 years Marco Daniel passed his first study year abroad, namely in England, before he came back to live in Zürich. Living in other cultures and learning new languages became soon a passion, and in the age of 17 Marco experienced an Exchange year in Venezuela. This experience of intercultural understanding convinced him to study international relations in Geneva. Once he sniffed South American spirit he rapidly becomes addicted, and therefore it’s not surprising he couldn’t leave out the opportunity of passing the next (and second last) semester of his studies in international relations in Buenos Aires. Anyhow, this geographical distance won’t hinder him in his function of recruiting next years GIMUNees, since the Internet made the world become a global village.
As responsible for recruitment Marco will be together with Ines in charge of:
Advertising, networking
Application and selection procedure of delegates / journalists
Attending participants and answering applicants all needs and questions
Facilitating accommodations and being contact person during the conference
What is the use of living
if it be not to strive for noble causes
and to make this muddled world a better place
for those who will live in it after we are gone?

Recruitment Coordinator (2)
Gregor Muischneek:
Growing up in the quiet Swiss capital town of Berne, Gregor Muischneek soon becomes interested in what is going on beyond his surroundings in the big, wide world.
An exchange year in the United States and a long stopover in China prove to be lasting international experiences. Meeting people with different backgrounds and different values and experiencing different ways of living very much appeal to him.
Inevitably, he chooses to begin studies of International Relations in cosmopolitan Geneva.
After his first experiences in different Model United Nations as a delegate, he is convinced of the benefits and the significance of this interactive platform.
He has been supporting the GIMUN as an assistant to the Public Relations Department.
As the new Recruitment Coordinator, Gregor becomes even more involved with the GIMUN and will be

a contact person before and during the conference
assisting participants in any way possible (accommodation, visa, etc.)
“More than ever before in human history, we share a common destiny. We can master it only if we face it together. And that, my friends, is why we have the United Nations.”
