The Heads of Departments are managing various teams within the association. We have the Events Team, the Translation Team, the Human Resources Team, and the Delegation.

Delegation

Coco Stadler

Coco is currently in the second year of her Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, with a focus on International Economics. Having grown up in multiple countries, she became fascinated by how countries interact and cooperate with each other.

 

She joined GIMUN as a member of delegation, where she discovered her enthusiasm for debate, diplomacy, and negotiation.

 

As Head of Delegation, she hopes to share this enthusiasm and create a welcoming environment where delegates can challenge themselves, develop their skills, and, most importantly, have fun along the way.

Finn Pietz

Finn is a second-year Bachelor’s student in International Relations at the University of Geneva, with a focus on International Politics. Originally from Zurich, he moved to Geneva to pursue his studies.

He joined GIMUN’s delegation in September 2025, where he quickly grew to enjoy debating and being part of the GIMUN community. This motivated him to become Co-Head of Delegation.

As Co-Head of Delegation, Finn’s goal is to create a positive environment where every member can grow their skills in debating and UN procedures, while experiencing the same strong sense of community that first drew him to GIMUN.

Ladina Forster

Margot is a Franco-Swiss student currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, specializing in Law, at the University of Geneva.

She joined GIMUN in September 2025 as a Human Resources Team Member, contributing to editorial operations and serving as a Delegate at the GIMUN Annual Conference, before being promoted to Co-Head of Human Resources.Prior to university, Margot completed parliamentary internships at the French Senate and Assemblée nationale. 

A firm believer in openness and curiosity, she has a deep passion for art in all its forms. As Co-Head of HR, her goal is to build a team culture where every member feels supported and empowered to thrive.

Gabriel Hug is a student of International Relations at the University of Geneva, with a focus on politics. Originally from the canton of Aargau, he moved to Geneva in 2024 to study in a global and internationally oriented environment.
 

He joined GIMUN’s HR department the same year, drawn by the opportunity to connect with likeminded peers interested in diplomacy and multilateralism. 


Now, as Co-Head of HR, he works to ensure a smooth and transparent application process. He also helps maintain a positive internal environment by coordinating the monthly Newsletter and serving as a contact point for internal concerns.

Translation

Sofia Jermilova

Sofia is a second-year Bachelor student in Relations at the Geneva School of Diplomacy. Originally from Latvia, she grew up in France and moved to Geneva last year to pursue her studies in a multicultural environment. Therefore, she juggles three languages every day: Russian with her family, French with friends, and English at university.

 

Sofia’s GIMUN journey is starting this year, and she is very excited to begin her new adventure within this organization. 

 

As Co-Head of the Translation Department, her goal is to support other Departments by delivering their translation needs efficiently, while maintaining a comfortable atmosphere inside her team.

Translation

Alia Jlaidi

Alia is a third-year Moroccan student pursuing a double degree in Law and Multilingual Studies at Paris-Panthéon-Assas University in Paris, hoping to become a jurist-linguist in French, English, and Arabic. 

 

Her Model United Nations path began in high school as a delegate, interpreter and board member, and continued during university as a delegate at Harvard WorldMUN 2026 and PIMUN 2026. Building on this multilingual and diverse background, she applied for the Head of Translation position at GIMUN. 

 

As Co-Head of Translation, Alia strives to strengthen quality standards, foster team development and build on a strong foundation in order to make GIMUN as accessible as possible to as many people as possible.

Events

Orlane Magan

Orlane is a student from Neuchâtel who moved to Geneva to pursue a bachelor's degree in International Relations. She is currently in her second year, specializing in International Economics.

 

She joined GIMUN in 2025 as an Events member. This experience allowed her to discover her passion for planning events and dealing with the logistics behind  them.

 

Her goal as co-head of Events is to create unforgettable events for the GIMUN community, fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Tara Luck

Tara is a second-year Bachelor of International Relations Student at the University of Geneva, where she focuses on an interdisciplinary global perspective. Originally from Zurich, she grew up in a bilingual English-Spanish household. 

 

She joined the GIMUN Events Team during her first year in Geneva, driven by her passion for diplomacy and international cooperation and particularly the behind the scene work that goes into organising and coordinating Events.

 

She hopes to create inclusive, exciting events that build community among students and connect them directly with everything the “International Geneva” ecosystem has to offer.
